Founder
Rare Gems Publishing is a small creative studio dedicated to thoughtful planning tools and reflective systems. The work is guided by a belief in gentler rhythms, realistic progress, and designs that support clarity without pressure.
Rare Gems Publishing was founded as a response to urgency culture—the feeling that time must be managed, optimized, or conquered in order to be worthy.
The studio is guided by a belief that people function best when they feel oriented, safe, and allowed to move at a human pace. The tools created here are shaped by lived experience, reflective practice, and a respect for rhythm rather than speed.
This is a small, intentional studio. The work is designed slowly, revised carefully, and released when it feels ready—so it can support real life, not add pressure to it.
E.B. Cousens’ work is informed by training in movement, reflective practice, and expressive arts. She holds a graduate degree in Dance Theatre and continues advanced study in thanatology and expressive arts therapy, with a focus on meaning-making, rhythm, and embodied ways of relating to time.
